Disco Inferno!

For my next 24hour project I was meant to go to London and the theme was 'The City That Never Sleeps', due to funds I decided too stay in Falmouth. I was trying to find something like a performance or event that I could document as I thought this could show peoples interests and it is something that people see as entertainment. I looked up many events before I found the one I photographed. Eventually I found that The Falmouth Follies on campus were doing a performance of the 70s musical Disco Inferno at The Performance Center.I arranged with the Joe a drama student who was in charge of the event, he was happy for me to come along and photograph the actual performance but as there were no backstage parts as such I couldn't document that which is what I wanted to preferably do.  I had to stand by the side at the curtains and I managed to get some shots of the performers, I enjoyed the musical and the talent was delightful. The cast were quite excited that I was taking photographs as they would have something for their portfolios as well. At the end of the performance I took photos of the cast and band so they were more staged but I tried to capture the personality of the students.
